Your beloved cat is a highly valued member of the family – we know and understand that. Our philosophy is to treat all our patients as if they were our own cat or kitten and by doing so we will always offer you the gold-standard of care and never compromise in providing them with the finest of care.

I moved to the Reno area in the early 1980′s. I have been in and out of the Veterinary field for the last 19 years. I have four daughters and two grandchildren that keep me very busy. We have numerous feline family members and have just acquired a canine companion named Jack. When I’m not busy with the family I enjoy reading, painting and quiet time to myself.

I have been working in veterinary medicine for 4 years now, mostly equine medicine and now I’m making the transition into small animal medicine. I am a senior at the University of Nevada Reno as an Animal Science major. I hope to attend veterinary school at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO in the Fall of 2013. Petey is my 7 year old Pit Bull I rescued from Wylie Animal Rescue Foundation in 2006. Together, Petey and I enjoy running, hiking and riding horses.

I was born in Colorado to military parents and ended up moving around a bit until we settled in Nevada 15 years ago. I have been working in the veterinary field for about 7 years and I’m currently working on a degree in literature at UNR. My husband and I share our home with our three rescued dogs, Warthog, Brian and Carlos.
